Ordering a Made-to-Order Item
Ordering a made-to-order item involves several stages, including manufacturing, international transport, and delivery. Below is a timeline overview:
- Order Placement: Your order is queued for manufacturing once fully paid or a deposit is made.
- Manufacturing: This stage typically takes between 14 and 30 days from the time your order is queued to completion.
- International Transport to the Hub: Completed products are shipped to our distributor's hub within 7 days. Here, the distributor handles customs clearance and unloads the items into a local warehouse. All outstanding payments must be settled at this stage.
- International Transport to Destination Country: Items are then transported to the destination country, taking an additional 7 to 14 days.
- Standard Delivery: The transport company delivers directly to your address. Expect to be contacted about 2 hours before delivery. Note: This option does not include moving items from the vehicle to inside your home.
- White Glove Delivery: Items are unloaded at the local delivery service's warehouse. The delivery service will contact you to arrange a delivery time slot. Deliveries typically occur within 7 days but may be extended due to factors such as availability, distance, and delivery schedules.
- The order is considered received upon successful delivery.
Total Delivery Time: The complete process typically ranges from 30 to 60 days. Delays may occur due to external factors beyond our control. For updates, please contact info@feydom.com.
Note: With White Glove delivery, items can be stored at the delivery service's warehouse for up to 7 days without charge. After this period, warehousing fees apply based on item volume.
If your plans change, notify us before your items leave the distributor's warehouse. Items can be stored there for up to 30 days at no additional cost. Beyond this, warehousing fees will be charged based on item volume.
Failure to accept delivery on the agreed date and time without prior notice may result in a charge for a failed delivery attempt, as per the fee schedule of the transport and delivery companies.
Ordering from Stock
Delivery times can vary since delivery companies operate on their own schedules. Sometimes, it may take a few extra days for an order from stock to arrive. Here is the approximate timeline for ordering from stock with delivery:
- Order Placement: After your order has been fully paid, we will forward the order details to the transport company. The transport company will pick up the items from our warehouse.
- Standard Delivery: The transport company will deliver directly to your address within 7 to 14 days. Expect to be contacted about 2 hours before delivery. Note: This option does not include moving items from the vehicle to inside your home.
- White Glove Delivery: The transport company will deliver the items within 7 to 14 days to the local delivery service's warehouse.
